It’s simple, our desire can be summed
up in a single word: Revival.
Engaging Heaven Church is sold out to revival and seeing the revelation of Christ in us a New Testament believers. We are contending for another Great Awakening in our generation. We are a Christ-Centered and Spirit-filled church with a passion and love for people. Come encounter the presence of Jesus in a fresh way!
Engaging Heaven Church was started in 2008 out of a storefront on Masonic Street in New London, Connecticut. Pastor James leads Engaging Heaven Church with a desire to see New England receive a fresh touch from the Lord and the fires of revival and awakening re-lit and burning brightly in the birthplace of the Great Awakening. Our local church consists of a diverse congregation where people from all walks of life can come to a place of spiritual maturity in the Lord.
Our Vision
We long to see the fullness of Jesus manifested on this earth, starting right here in the birthplace of the Great Awakening: New England. Revival is not an event, it is a way of life that is realized by people falling in love with Jesus and giving their all to Him. Through a fresh touch from Heaven, we are equipped to live a victorious life in Christ.
Pastor James & Debbie Levesque
James Levesque serves as a pastor, international speaker, author and church planter. He is considered a young, emerging apostolic voice in America and the nations. His heart is to see awakening and revival throughout America and around the rest of the world.
Along with traveling, James and his wife, Debbie, pastor and lead various Engaging Heaven Churches across the Nation. Lives are transformed weekly through services, outreaches, classes, media, and conferences.
James is also host of the Engage Heaven Today
podcast, a weekday devotional focused on
Spirit-filled living.
James and his wife Debbie, who is from Vancouver, BC have three beautiful children: Isaac, Luke, and Amayah. When not traveling or on the road, James and Debbie enjoy life in Florida, love spending time with family and friends, host parties and love all things football and coffee.

What We Believe
With true ministry comes His (Agape) love, without which we have no right to claim ourselves a Christian.
Ministry should be directed by the Holy Spirit; therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our ministry.
God's Holy Word is verbally and fully inspired and is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Father: God the Father is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Son: Jesus Christ is the divine, eternal and only begotten Son of God. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father to make intercession for saints and in His personal, visible return to the world in power and glory.
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is a distinct personality and deity sent forth from the Father. We believe that He is come to indwell, sanctify, instruct and comfort the saints.
